Governance 

The PLC Armidale Foundation was created by the Deed of Trust, which established the ‘PLC Armidale Foundation - Building Trust’. The trustee of the trusts is the Presbyterian Church (NSW) Property Trust.

The trust deed provided for the establishment of a Board of Management comprises of:

  • Elected directors

  • A representative appointed by the College’s Parents & Friends' Association

  • A representative appointed by the Old Girls' Union.

From this Board are elected a Chair, Deputy Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. Additionally the Board is required to form two sub-committees – an Investment Committee and a Marketing Committee.

The directors of the Board are drawn from all areas of the PLC Armidale school community including current and former parents, old girls of PLC Armidale, local business people and members of the local community who are passionate about high-quality education for girls and providing the facilities to achieve this at PLC Armidale.
