Welcome to PLC Armidale
At PLC Armidale we are continuing the tradition of providing academic excellence since 1887 in a caring and nurturing environment.
The safe, country environment of PLC Armidale is especially appealing to parents who want security for their daughter’s wellbeing. Catering for Pre Primary to Year 12 our school is set in 17 hectares of beautiful grounds. Native birds and fauna live in the school grounds and we take every care of the wonderful natural environment.
Our pastoral care program and an active Student Representative council ensure students are well looked after. The school also operates a peer support program for Year 7 and academic mentoring for Year 12 students.
Girls from the College move into universities and other tertiary institutions across Australia and the world to study in their chosen fields whether that be Medicine, Law, Agriculture or Drama and the Arts. Every girl has a unique set of talents and skills which will be encouraged and enhanced in this community, following our motto Ad Astra - To the Stars.
Our school is 122 years old and part of a long tradition of PLC schools for girls. We are proud of the tradition of excellence our school continues to uphold.
