Boarders return to school on the day before lessons begin each term. Students are not to travel on the overnight coach the night immediately preceding the start of term.
Vacation travel arrangements must be made by parents in conjunction with the Head of Boarding. Assistance will be given for students travelling overseas if necessary.
Travel forms are sent home well in advance and must be completed and returned a minimum of a month in advance of travel, sooner if possible, or seats on school buses and public transport may not be available. Students will be permitted to leave school only in the manner authorised by parents on the form. Alterations must be advised in writing by the parents. PLC is served by charter buses to the school feeder areas. Buses generally leave Armidale from 7.00am on the last day of term, or on the Friday morning at the commencement of a Boarders Weekend.
