ICT equipment and services is provided for students and staff to enhance teaching and learning, and for administrative services.
All students have access to two fully equipped computer rooms and a bank of computers in the Library Resource Centre. Boarders have access to computers in the boarding house and the wireless network. An Interactive White Board is situated in a science laboratory and is used specifically in science but it is also used in other subject areas.
All classrooms in the main classroom block of the Junior School have Interactive Whiteboards and computers. Due to the interactive nature of the IWB, students are highly motivated using this technology in class. The teaching staff is committed to the incorporation of technology as a learning tool in all curriculum areas.
Students access the Internet for research assignments and develop their skills in desktop publishing, website design, multimedia production and presentation. Music students create their own compositions using music creation and notation software and electronic keyboards. Cross-curricular technology days in web design, podcasting, and video production have been very successful and will be expanded in the future. All computers are linked to the school network and the Internet. Campus-wide wireless access caters for students and staff with laptops. The school is committed to upgrading and expanding technology as outlined in the school's Strategic Plan.
