The role of the school nurse is:
1.Looking after the girls when sick or needing emergency care and getting them to the doctor or any medical appts.
2. Coordinate immunisations with Hunter new England health
3.First aid including at carnivals
4.a resource person for medical information as well as health promotion and health education for staff and students
5. implementing health care plans for any students whom may need it e.g diabetes anaphylaxis
5.Asthma training and anaphylaxis coordination for staff
6.Maintaining medical files and updates for school records.
For boarders our local doctor for the School is Dr Pain. You can elect another doctor for your child if you wish.
All boarding student medications need to be handed into the boarding house.
