Welcome to the beautiful city of Armidale located in the New England Region of New South Wales.

PLC Armidale is located in the safe, rural city of Armidale, at an elevation of 1000 metres, the eduction centre of Northern New South Wales. The city offers a wide variety of cultural, sporting and religious facilities, and is the home of the University of New England. Armidale has a population of 22,000.

The school is situated 3 kilometres north of the CBD in 17 hectares of beautiful parkland and superb playing fields with modern buildings and up to date facilities.

PLC Armidale draws its students from most areas of New South Wales, and the eastern states of Australia, and from many overseas countries, providing an interesting international educational environment.

Armidale is located approximately half way between Sydney and Brisbane in the heart of the beautiful New England Region 980m above sea level.

Armidale has 4 distinct seasons from crisp winters with occasional snow and crystal clear blue sky to warm summers, colourful autumnal shows and energetic spring weather.

With only a 6 hour drive south to Sydney or north to Brisbane, Armidale offers easy access to some of our major cities.  Armidale is only 1 hr and 15 mins by air from Sydney and has daily air services.
