About the Role:
PLC Armidale seeks a visionary and experienced leader to become our Head of PLC Pathways.
This senior leadership role, reporting directly to the Principal, offers an exciting opportunity to shape the academic, pastoral, cultural, and wellbeing journey of our international students.
As Head of PLC Pathways, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the PLC Pathways program, ensuring a high-quality experience for international students.
- Lead and develop staff within the Language Centre, fostering excellence in teaching, wellbeing, and administration.
- Oversee the academic progress with students, parents, partner schools, and recruitment agencies, promoting PLC Pathways locally and internationally.
- Manage the Language Centre's daily operations, budget, and compliance with relevant regulations (including CRICOS and NESA).
- Contribute to the broader life of the College, representing PLC Pathways at functions and supporting its Christian values.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven leadership in an educational setting, ideally within international or ELICOS programs
- TESOL qualifications (or equivalent) and experience working with international students and their families
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse cultures
- The capacity to lead learning, improve student outcomes, and support teacher development using evidence-based approaches

PLC Armidale is seeking an experienced Science/Mathematics teacher to join our dedicated team.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Stage 4 and Stage 5 Science and/or Mathematics teacher. Experience teaching Stage 6 courses is also preferred and would be highly regarded. You will also be committed to delivering engaging and innovative lessons that inspire students to reach their full potential.
This is a part-time, temporary role for 12 months to replace a staff member on leave. The load for the remainder of 2025 is 0.75 FTE.
You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.
