Kate Biddle

Kate in Cloisters"PLC Armidale was integral in the making of our Kate. She really did flourish in the supportive, encouraging, and friendly environment.
Kate started as a boarder at PLC Armidale in Year 9. Her grades at her local school were excellent and she was awarded an academic scholarship. These grades continued throughout her years at PLC Armidale. She was able to participate in numerous extracurricular academic & team challenges, regionally, nationally, and internationally on two occasions. These consolidated her love of teamwork, academics and leadership, and was able to provide her with a broader life perspective.

PLC Armidale offers so much more than academic excellence.  In Year 12 Kate received the Caltex All Rounder Award and a Sportsmanship Award, as well as being Deputy Head Prefect. It is the all-round young adult that Kate is today that is a credit to PLC Armidale.

Kate is now 22. She has taken the strength of character, independence, and work ethic she developed at PLC Armidale and made it part of her life. Kate has graduated from Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland with a distinction grade point average and has received a post graduate scholarship to study for a Master of Pharmacy.
Today, Kate remains an all-rounder - excelling academically, actively involved in sport, hardworking and appreciated by employers and with a broad, diverse friend group.  Her friendship group from PLC Armidale, despite being spread far & wide and all studying quite different subjects, has remained close, loyal, supportive and they catch up regularly.
Kate loved her time at PLC Armidale. It was such an excellent fit for her in so many ways."
